How Working With Sabah Designers Works: Beginning to End

Buyer contacts Sabah Designers with a design concept, tech pack, or physical reference garment. Whether you have complete CAD files or clear reference photos, our merchandising team opens a project file to evaluate feasibility and production capacity.

We prepare the quotation based on confirmed requirements. As a vertically integrated manufacturer (in-house circular knitting, cutting, printing, embroidery, and sewing), our pricing reflects direct factory FOB (Chittagong) or CIF rates with zero intermediate agent markups.

Fabric, trims and accessories are sourced. Fabric is knitted at our sister enterprise, Sarah Industries, or certified partner spinning mills. We source Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified yarns, initiate circular knitting to your GSM, and create 4-way color lab dips (A, B, C, D) under D65 and TL84 lightboxes.

Sample development and buyer approval. Our dedicated 50+ machine sample room builds physical counter-samples matching your tech pack POM measurements. This allows you to inspect fit, drape, fabric weight, neckline comfort, and embroidery placement before bulk fabric dyeing.

Final approval before bulk manufacturing. The Pre-Production (PP) sample is sewn using 100% approved bulk dyed fabric, actual production trims, real brand labels, and production-line machines. Once the PP sample and full size-set grading (XS to XXL) receive your formal "Gold Seal" approval, bulk cutting begins.

Production begins across our 18 modular sewing lines in Gazipur. The process starts with 24-hour tensionless fabric relaxation, computerized CAD marker plotting for maximum fabric efficiency (>85%), and precision knife cutting. Cut panels proceed through automatic screen printing or Tajima embroidery before feeding into sewing assembly lines.

Garments undergo required inspections. Our QA division enforces a four-gate verification protocol: 100% 4-point fabric roll inspection, roving in-line sewing checks using traffic light status boards, end-of-line 100% measurement and stitching audits, and final statistical random inspection according to ISO 2859-1 (AQL 1.5 Major, 2.5 Minor Level II).

Final finishing, folding, labels and packaging. Garments undergo industrial vacuum steam pressing, thread trimming, brand label attachments, and UPC barcode tagging. Crucially, 100% of finished garments pass through Hashima dual-head conveyor metal detectors (1.0mm–1.2mm ferrous sensitivity) before entering sterile boxing areas.

Goods are prepared for export and delivery. Container stuffing takes place in our covered, dry loading bays under tamper-evident security seals. Our export documentation department coordinates directly with your nominated freight forwarder or handles end-to-end CIF/DDP booking, preparing Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, and GSP Form A / EUR.1 documents.
